First time? Sync takes a moment
If you have years of Strava history, the first sync may take a minute or two. The counter will show your progress.
Sync new runs
Use the "Sync new runs" button on the dashboard to fetch only your latest activities — no need to re-sync everything.
Switch between miles and km
Use the MI / KM toggle in the header. Your preference is saved automatically for future visits.
Your data stays on your device
Stride stores everything locally in your browser. Clearing your browser data will also clear your Stride data.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Stride reads your activity data directly from Strava via their official API. Connecting your account gives Stride read-only permission to access your activities so it can calculate and display your training history. Stride cannot post, modify, or delete anything on your Strava account.
Your activity data is stored entirely in your browser's local IndexedDB storage on your own device. It is never sent to or stored on any external server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
By default Stride only shows Run and Virtual Run activities. If you want to include walks or hikes, check the "Include Walks" checkbox in the header. If activities are still missing, try clicking "↻ Sync new runs" to fetch the latest data from Strava.
Pace is calculated from your raw activity data as total moving time divided by total distance — never an average of averages. This gives you the most accurate representation of your true pace across all your runs in a given period.
Tap the ✕ button next to your name in the top right of the dashboard. This will disconnect your account and clear all locally stored data. You can also revoke access directly from strava.com/settings/apps.
Yes — Stride is designed as a responsive web app that works on phones, tablets, and desktops. On iOS you can add it to your home screen via Safari's Share menu for an app-like experience.
